Schools operating under the auspices of a diocese are governed by various policies at multiple levels, including those set by the school administration, the local school advisory council and the dioceses. School operation is also influenced by state and federal regulation, jurisprudence and legislation. The Administration of Sacred Heart School, in its discretion and for good cause, and with the approval of the Pastor, reserves the right to amend this handbook at any time. If changes are made the Administration will endeavor to provide parents with prompt notification. The enrollment of a student binds said student and the enrolling parents to all policies stated herein, inclusive of amendments. Furthermore, the Administration reserves the right to make decisions regarding circumstances not addressed in the handbook and/or, in its discretion, to grant variances or exceptions as circumstances may warrant.
