- Navy Blue, short/long-sleeve Polo-Style Shirt
(may ONLY be purchased from Industrial Supply, Tommy Hilfiger or Young Fashions)
- Solid white, loose-fitting, long sleeve, button front oxford button down with SHS crest. (9-12)
(may ONLY be purchased from Tommy Hilfiger)
**May be worn any school day but is mandatory for Mass and designated school-sponsored events.
- School crest patch on all shirts as sold by company/vendor.
- Only plain, solid white undergarments may be worn under uniform shirts and must be tucked-in at all times.
- Long sleeve, solid white turtleneck or mock turtleneck shirts may be worn under school uniform shirts during extreme cold weather; the shirts cannot have a logo on the neckline.
FLEECE PULLOVERS, SWEATERS & SWEATSHIRTS
The school-approved half-zip, fleece, navy blue pullover is acceptable for grades 9-12 but will be a 2-year phase out. Only monogramming and artwork provided by the company/vendor is allowed with the exception of the student’s name, which may be added after being purchased.

School-approved pullovers and sweatshirts are to be worn properly and fitted at the waist.
ATHLETIC JACKETS & PULLOVERS
5 – 12
The following may be worn by athletes on “Game Day” for the designated sports:
- SHS Athletic Team Jerseys/Shirts/Sweatshirts
- SHS Spirit Group pullovers
10 – 12
The Sacred Heart School Letterman jackets & sweaters (purchased w/ Jostens) may be worn throughout the school year.
JUMPERS
(K - 3)
Jumpers will be worn throughout the day.
- 3” from the floor when kneeling
- Blue/gold SHS plaid
- Loose-fitting
- Standard hem
The school-approved, Navy blue Polo-style shirt must be worn under the jumper.
*Elementary students do not wear school uniform shorts under the skirt.
**Only navy blue or white shorts should be worn under the jumper and cannot be longer than the jumper.
SKIRTS
(Grades 4 – 12)
Skirts will be worn throughout the day.

9 – 12
- Solid khaki (light-colored)– poly/cotton twill fabric

- Loose-fitting and worn at natural waist; hip huggers or “skinny-fitted” pants are not allowed

- Logos are not permitted on garment.
- Exposed pockets/rivets are not permitted.

MASS
(K – 12)
- Solid white, loose-fitting, long sleeve, button front oxford cloth with button down with SHS crest. (9-12)
**Mandatory for Mass and designated school-sponsored events.
- Skirts, skorts or jumpers must be worn as described above.
MATERNITY
- Plain, solid navy jumper
- Solid navy blouse
BELTS
- Plain navy, black or brown
- Plain belt buckle
*Magnetic belts are allowed for K-3.
SOCKS
K – 12
- Solid white or navy blue crew or knee socks
ONLY.
- Ankle socks must be the school-approved socks and visible at all times.
- “No-show” socks are not permitted.
- Plain, solid navy or white tights

- Solid white or black athletic shoe
*Solid black top with white bottom athletic shoe w/ black or white logo are allowed.
- Navy and white Saddle Oxford tennis shoe (Girls)
Penny loafers or Sperry-style “boat” shoes/topsiders are not permitted.
9 – 12
- White or black athletic shoes
- Sperry–style shoes/topsiders, shoes do not have to be the Sperry name brand, but the “boat” shoe/topsiders must be similar to the Sperry style number 9155240 or Royal Brown color for ladies.
* Sperry-style shoes/topsiders must be worn with socks.
HAIR ACCESSORIES & EYEWEAR
- White, navy, gold or SHS plaid
- Hair Extensions are not permitted.
*Caps, hats, bandanas or sunglasses are not allowed.
P.E. UNIFORMS
(Grades 9 – 12)

*The shoes required for physical education class are the school-approved solid white or solid black tennis shoes.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR GIRLS:
- Hooded and front pocket sweat shirts are not allowed.
- Elementary girls are not allowed to wear makeup of any kind. (this includes but is not limited to traditional makeup, fake eyelashes, permanent eyelash extensions, eyelash perming, cosmetic tattooing of any kind, etc.)
- High school girls may wear makeup in moderation as deemed appropriate by the Administration.
- Fingernails must be moderate length. Only high school girls are allowed to wear light colors (pastel shades) of nail polish.
- Hair must be clean and well groomed, with no unnatural colors, scalp-writings/designs or other radical styles. The Administration reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of a hair style.
- One set of plain earrings in the lower lobe of the ears may be worn. (Earrings may be gold, silver or a color that compliments the school uniform.)
- Other than the allowed piercing of the lower lobe of the ear, body piercing of any other type is totally unacceptable.
- Tattoos are not allowed.
TROJAN SPIRIT DAYS
(K – 8)
“Spirit” days (designated during the school year), the following dress code applies:
- Shirts must be a SHS spirit tee shirt, sweatshirt or SHS group shirt representing the school name, group, mascot, logo and/or crest.
- Shirts must be tucked in at all times.
- School shoes must be worn.
- Students choosing not to participate in the
special day must wear the official school uniform.
