High School and Elementary Athletic Ceremonies

The high school and elementary Athletic Ceremonies were held in May. It was a record-setting year for our Trojan Athletic Program. Numerous high school and 8th grade athletes were acknowledged and received awards. At the high school athletic ceremony, some of the Sophomores and Juniors received Letterman jackets and sweaters. Carley Cloud and Isaac Leger were both awarded with the SHS Trojan Award which is voted by the faculty and is given each year to a male and female athlete based on grade point average, community service, membership in clubs/organizations and their leadership in the school. Carley Cloud, Silas Chesne and Michael Cole Fontenot were all recognized for Academic All-State. At the elementary athletic awards, 8th grade athletes were honored individually with Ashton Duos being the recipient of the Kenneth Launey Award.
