Parents and other interested individuals are always welcome at Sacred Heart School, however, in the interest of safety and efficiency of the school, all visitors must check in at the office. No one is allowed to proceed to classrooms or the gymnasium without first receiving permission from the office by way of a pass or tag to display prominently.
All parents or visitors to the campus during the regular school day or for any extra-curricular activity must abide by Sacred Heart School policies and laws governing the carrying of firearms or other dangerous weapons, the use of alcohol or other drugs and the use of tobacco products. Possession of firearms, including hunting firearms, is strictly forbidden, except in the case of a member of a law enforcement authority authorized to carry a firearm. Possession or use of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Tobacco products are to be used by adults only in designated areas. Law enforcement personnel will remove any visiting student or adult violating these rules from the campus, if necessary.
All parents and students shall comply with the rules and policies of Sacred Heart School as set forth herein or as may be adopted or otherwise promulgated by school authorities during the coming year. Subject to any applicable disciplinary policies and giving the student and parents a right to be heard, Sacred Heart School reserves the authority to dismiss a student at any time if, in the judgment of the Administration, any parent and/or guardian violates the Parent/Student Handbook and/or the student fails to meet the requirements of the school as set forth herein or if the student’s conduct or influence, on or off the campus, is not in keeping with the standards of Sacred Heart School. In the case of such dismissal, there will be no refund of tuition and fees and any unpaid account balances will remain payable in full.
In the event of non-attendance, withdrawal or dismissal, whether voluntarily or involuntary, whether due to foreseen or unforeseen circumstances, and regardless of the reason for same, parents/guardians remain responsible to pay incurred tuition and fees in the event that an account becomes delinquent or remains unpaid. Parents are responsible for and liable to Sacred Heart School for any and all costs and expenses associated with collection, including reasonable attorney fees and expenses incurred, court costs and legal interest.
By enrollment of your child in Sacred Heart School, parents are required to immediately alert and notify Sacred Heart School in writing of any alleged violation or breach of contract, providing Sacred Heart School with the full details of same and allowing Sacred Heart School a reasonable amount of time, under the circumstances, to respond and/or remedy said alleged violation or breach. Furthermore, the exclusive civil remedy of any student or parent for any alleged violation or breach of contract by Sacred Heart School shall be strictly limited to injunctive relief and/or specific performance and there shall be no entitlement to a refund, credit, offset or cancellation of any tuition and/or fees paid or owed and recovery of monetary damages by any student or parent for any alleged or actual breach of contract on the part of Sacred Heart School is expressly waived. Should a student or parent bring a claim or lawsuit against Sacred Heart School in violation of this policy, the student or parents shall be responsible for payment of the school’s reasonable attorney fees, expenses and costs incurred in defending and/or seeking a dismissal of said improper claim or lawsuit.
